Gemini season. Uranus in your sign. A New Moon. Mars arriving at the end. June is a lot. The good kind of a lot.

I want to start with something practical because I think the big picture stuff for Gemini in June can get lost if I lead with too much philosophy.
You have three things happening this month that matter: a New Moon in your sign on June 14th, Mars entering Gemini on June 28th, and Mercury going retrograde on June 29th. Each one pulls in a slightly different direction. That is pretty typical for Gemini energy and also pretty typical for June 2026 specifically. The month has a beginning, a middle and an end that each feel different from each other. I am going to walk through them in order.
But first — Uranus. Because Uranus has been in Gemini since late April and I think it is worth spending thirty seconds on what that actually means for you right now.
Uranus in your sign for the next seven years is going to change how you think, communicate and connect at a deeper level than any single month can show. Right now in June you are still in the first weeks of that transit. Things feel restless. Ideas that felt settled are reopening. You are probably reaching for things you cannot quite name yet. That is Uranus doing its job. It is not comfortable but it is real and it is pointing somewhere.
The New Moon in Gemini — June 14th
Once a year you get a New Moon in your own sign and it is worth treating differently from other New Moons. This one falls on June 14th and it has the specific electric quality that comes from Uranus also sitting in Gemini right next to it.
New Moons are for beginning things. This one specifically is for beginning things you have been circling without committing to. The project that keeps almost starting. The creative direction you have been researching for three months without taking a real step. The conversation that keeps almost happening.
The Uranus influence means the beginning does not have to look like what you planned. Probably it will not. Set a direction rather than a destination. Gemini is genuinely good at improvising toward something once it has a rough heading, and that is exactly what this New Moon supports.
One practical note: the New Moon happens during Gemini season which is your time of maximum social energy and visibility. If there is something you want to put out into the world — a piece of work, an idea, yourself in some public way — the window around June 14th is a genuinely good one.
Mars enters Gemini — June 28th
Mars moves into your sign on June 28th and stays through August. Mars in Gemini is fast and mentally sharp and very good at making things happen quickly. It gives your natural speed an additional layer of drive so that the ideas do not just stay ideas.
The timing is interesting because Mars arrives on June 28th and Mercury goes retrograde the very next day on June 29th. You get one day of pure forward momentum and then a communication slowdown kicks in. This is annoying but not a disaster.
What it means practically: use the last days of June and early July to start things but do not try to finalize them. Send the first email. Have the first conversation. Make the first move. Just do not sign contracts or make announcements that depend on precise communication during the first three weeks of July. Mercury goes direct on July 23rd. After that everything you launched in late June can move properly forward.
Mercury retrograde — June 29th through July 23rd
Mercury is your ruling planet. When it goes retrograde you feel it more directly than most signs do.
This retrograde is in Cancer which means the slowdown happens in areas connected to home, family and emotional conversations. Things you say in those areas might land differently than you meant. Old topics that felt resolved have a way of resurfacing. Someone from your past might get back in touch.
None of this is catastrophic. It is just a reason to be more careful than usual with important conversations, especially ones that involve feelings rather than facts. Say the thing clearly. Check that the other person understood what you meant. Read the email twice before sending.
The one area where Mercury retrograde in Cancer specifically trips up Gemini is the tendency to over-explain when you are nervous. You already talk fast. When Mercury is retrograde and you are in an emotional conversation, the over-explaining can create more confusion than it resolves. Say less. Wait for the response. Let there be a pause.
What June is actually asking of you
The through line of June for Gemini is about picking a direction and actually committing to it rather than keeping all options open.
Uranus in your sign is generating a lot of electricity. The New Moon is opening a door. Mars is arriving with momentum. That is more energy than most signs get in a single month. The risk is spreading it across too many things and having nothing go anywhere real. Gemini knows this risk well. You have probably been here before.
June is asking you to choose. One thing that matters more than the others right now. One direction to point all of that Uranus electricity and Mars drive toward. The month has the energy to take something from idea to actual beginning. But not if you are trying to begin twelve things at once.
The restlessness you feel right now is information. It is pointing at something specific. In June, find out what that is.
