Jupiter in Cancer happens once every twelve years. It arrived June 2nd. This is the month you stop waiting for the catch.

I have been sitting with how to write this one for a few days.
Not because it is complicated. Because I genuinely want Cancer to receive what is happening in June and I know from experience that Cancer does not always let good things land. You hold them at a slight distance. You appreciate them from behind glass. You are already thinking about when they might end before they have properly begun.
So I am just going to say it flat. Jupiter moved into Cancer on June 2nd. Jupiter is exalted in your sign which means it works better here than almost anywhere else in the zodiac. This happens once every twelve years. You have twelve months of it ahead. The last time this occurred was 2013 to 2014. If something was growing well in your life back then, think about what that felt like. That feeling is available again.
That is not a small thing. Please do not treat it like a small thing.
What Jupiter actually does in your sign
I want to be specific rather than vague about this because I think Cancer deserves concrete information rather than just being told good things are coming.
Jupiter expands whatever it touches. In your sign that means home, family, emotional foundations, your sense of inner security and the relationships that feel like actual home to you. These are the areas where Jupiter is going to be opening doors over the next twelve months.
In June specifically you might notice things feeling lighter in exactly the areas that felt heavy before. A family situation that had gotten complicated starts to soften. Something in your home life that felt stuck starts to move. A relationship that needed more warmth starts to have it. These shifts do not always announce themselves. Sometimes they just quietly happen and a few weeks later you realize something changed.
I talked to a Cancer friend last week who said June has felt different and she could not explain why. She is sleeping better. She has been cooking more. She texted her sister after two years of weird distance. She did not connect any of it to Jupiter. But that is exactly what Jupiter moving through Cancer looks like in real life. Quiet expansions in the areas that matter.
Venus conjunct Jupiter on June 9th
On June 9th Venus and Jupiter meet in Cancer. I want to spend a moment here because this is one of the genuinely lovely aspects of the month and it falls right in your sign.
Venus conjunct Jupiter gets called the luckiest aspect in astrology sometimes. I am a bit skeptical of that framing because luck is messier than astrology makes it sound. But what I can say honestly is that June 9th has a warmth to it that is worth showing up for. Things in relationships and creative areas go better than expected. Conversations that could go sideways go well instead. Something you put out into the world lands better than you thought it would.
If you have been wanting to reach out to someone, have a real conversation, or share something you have been working on, the days around June 9th are genuinely good for that. Not magic. Just better odds than usual.
Mercury retrograde starts June 29th and it is in your sign
Okay here is the part I have to be honest about.
Mercury goes retrograde on June 29th in Cancer. It stays retrograde through July 23rd. Mercury retrograde in your own sign is specifically uncomfortable because it messes with the very thing Cancer does most — feeling things and then trying to communicate them to other people.
What happens in practice is that the words do not quite match the feeling underneath them. You say something that makes complete sense to you and the person you said it to looks confused. An old conversation comes back up that you thought was finished. Someone misreads your tone completely. You feel misunderstood in a way that is hard to explain because you were not even sure what you were trying to say in the first place.
I have been through Mercury retrograde in Cancer a few times and the thing that helps most is saying less than you think you need to say. Cancer tends to over-explain when anxious. This retrograde is a month to resist that. Say the simple version. Wait. See if the other person understood. Then add more if needed.
Also do not sign anything important in the last few days of June. The opportunity will still be there in late July when Mercury is moving properly again.
The thing I actually want Cancer to take from June
There is a tension in June between Jupiter opening things and Mercury retrograde asking you to slow down. I think about this a lot and my honest read is that they are not actually in conflict. They are just asking for different things at different times.
The first three weeks of June are for Jupiter. Move toward the things that matter. Have the warm conversations. Take the step you have been hovering on the edge of. Let Venus conjunct Jupiter on June 9th be a moment you lean into rather than watch from a safe distance.
The last week of June when Mercury slows down is for listening more than talking. For reviewing rather than starting new things. It is a natural gear shift not a disaster.
But mostly I want Cancer to just let this month be good. Jupiter in your sign for twelve months is genuinely rare and genuinely worth something. You do not have to earn it. You do not have to wait for it to prove itself. It is already here.
Let it in.
