I made a Libra essentials pack and the responses were all variations of the same theme. Everyone found a way to agree with it while slightly softening what the labels said about them.
Which is the most Libra response possible. Here is the breakdown.
Still Deciding
The golden balance scale is first and it is the item Libra is most honestly identified by.
Libra does not make decisions quickly. This is not indecisiveness in the sense of weakness. It is the Libra process of genuinely seeing multiple sides of a situation and needing to weigh them properly before committing. The problem is that the weighing sometimes continues past the point where a decision was actually needed.
The still deciding label is accurate. Libra knows it. They are also still deciding whether to be bothered by it.
But Is It Fair
The mirror labeled but is it fair is the item that gets at something real about Libra.
Fairness matters to Libra in a way that runs deeper than preference. It is a value. When something is unfair Libra feels it physically. The imbalance registers. The desire to correct it is immediate.
The question but is it fair gets asked constantly. About situations. About decisions. About how much of themselves they are giving compared to what is coming back. Sometimes the honest answer is no. Libra spends a lot of time deciding what to do with that answer.
The Spreadsheet
The phone showing a pros and cons list is the item Libra finds both accurate and slightly embarrassing.
Libra has a spreadsheet. Not always a literal one. But a mental spreadsheet for most significant decisions that tracks every relevant factor with a care that other signs apply only to very serious matters.
The spreadsheet exists because Libra genuinely wants to make the right choice. Not just a good choice. The right one. For everyone involved. The spreadsheet is the attempt to make that achievable.
Keeping the Peace
The white flag is the shadow item and Libra deserves to hear this clearly.
Libra is very good at keeping the peace. Sometimes too good. The peace that is kept by absorbing conflict rather than addressing it is not real peace. It is just quiet. And the cost of that quiet is usually paid by Libra alone.
The white flag is not always the right move. Sometimes the flag needs to go down and the real conversation needs to happen. Libra knows this. They are working on it.
For Everyone I People Pleased Today
The rose is the item Libra laughs at while making a small uncomfortable sound.
Libra cares about other people’s experience of them. This is related to the fairness thing but it also runs on its own track. The desire to be liked, to be seen as kind and reasonable and easy to be around. It produces genuine warmth and generosity. It also sometimes produces agreements that were not really agreements and kindnesses that came at personal cost.
The rose is beautiful. Giving roses is a genuine pleasure for Libra. The exhaustion comes from giving them to people who did not earn them.
Cannot Commit to Discomfort
The velvet cushion is the last item and the most honest one.
Libra does not like discomfort. Physical discomfort or emotional discomfort. They will rearrange things considerably to avoid it. This produces beautiful environments and smooth social situations and also occasionally the sense that things are fine when they are not quite fine.
The inability to commit to discomfort is not a permanent condition. Libra can do hard things. They just need a moment to find the most comfortable angle from which to approach them.
