Jupiter moves into your career zone. Pluto is retrograde in your sign doing its internal work. June is not quiet and it is not supposed to be.

Scorpio has been going through something for the past few years that is hard to describe to people who have not felt it.
Pluto has been in Aquarius since 2023 and it went retrograde on May 6th. For Scorpio, Pluto is your modern ruling planet. When it goes retrograde the transformation that has been happening around you turns inward. The external changes slow down. The internal ones intensify.
This is not bad news. Pluto retrograde in Aquarius is asking Scorpio to look honestly at what has changed internally since 2023. What you have released. What you have rebuilt. Whether the version of yourself you are currently living as actually matches what you have been through. Sometimes we change more than we have admitted to ourselves. The retrograde is the reckoning with that.
June is also the month Jupiter moves into Leo. I want to talk about both because they are both significant.
Jupiter into Leo on June 30th and what it means for Scorpio
Jupiter moving into Leo activates the area of your chart connected to career, public reputation and long-term professional direction. Jupiter in Leo from June 30th through mid-2027 is a genuine expansion window for your professional life.
For Scorpio this is significant because Leo and Scorpio are in a square relationship, which means the energy is not smooth and easy but rather productive in the way of friction producing heat. Jupiter squaring your sign from Leo pushes career growth through challenge rather than through gentle opportunity. The doors that open are the ones you push against.
This is actually very natural for Scorpio. You do not do your best work when everything is easy. You do your best work when something is at stake. Jupiter in Leo from late June gives you something professionally significant to work toward and the energy to work toward it.
Pluto retrograde through October
Pluto is retrograde from May 6th through October 15th. I want to say something honest about what that actually feels like rather than describing it abstractly.
Pluto retrograde tends to surface things that were buried. Old feelings about power and control. Patterns in relationships that you thought you had dealt with but apparently had only managed. Decisions from the past that need to be reconsidered with the information you have now.
For Scorpio this is familiar territory in a way it is not for most signs. You are not afraid of depth. But depth and depth that has been there untouched since 2023 are different things. What Pluto retrograde is asking in June is specifically: what did the transformation of the past three years actually cost you, and have you let yourself acknowledge that cost fully? Not to wallow in it. To complete the accounting.
There is something relieving about finishing an honest audit even when the numbers are not what you hoped. June is a good month for that.
Mercury retrograde on June 29th
Mercury goes retrograde in Cancer on June 29th affecting areas of communication connected to publishing, learning and beliefs for Scorpio. Old ideas resurface. Something you published or shared comes back for another look.
The note on timing is the same as for every sign this month. Do not make major professional announcements right at the end of June. Let Jupiter settle into Leo and Mercury complete its retrograde before relaunching anything important.
What June is asking of Scorpio
Do the internal Pluto work honestly. That is the foundation of everything else in June.
Jupiter moving into your career area is a real opportunity but it lands better if you are not carrying unprocessed weight from the past three years. Scorpio has a capacity for sustained internal work that other signs genuinely do not have. Use it. The retrograde period through the summer is a natural window for exactly this.
And then prepare for what Jupiter in Leo is opening professionally. Scorpio at their best when something is at stake and Jupiter is about to provide something worth being at stake for.
The question Pluto is asking you probably already know. Write it down. Answer it honestly. Then move.
