I want to start with something Aquarius probably already knows but might need to hear from someone outside their own head.

Pluto has been in your sign since 2023. It went retrograde on May 6th. And the work it is doing right now in retrograde is different from the work it does when direct. When Pluto is direct in your sign it transforms things around you. Circumstances shift. Old structures fall away. When Pluto goes retrograde the transformation moves inward. The question is no longer what is changing in your life but what needs to change in how you understand yourself.

For Aquarius in June specifically, Pluto retrograde is asking: what parts of your identity were built on what other people needed you to be rather than what you actually are? Where are you still performing a version of yourself that you outgrew and have not officially retired yet? What would you do or be or say if you were not managing anyone’s expectations?

These are uncomfortable questions. They are also very Aquarius questions. You are the sign that is supposed to know itself clearly and live from that knowing. Pluto retrograde is the enforcer of that.

Jupiter into Leo on June 30th

Jupiter moves into Leo on June 30th and Leo is directly opposite Aquarius. An opposition from Jupiter is not the most comfortable aspect but it is an active one. Jupiter opposing your sign from Leo brings expansion, opportunity and growth from the direction of other people, partnerships and the world meeting you.

What that means in practice: the work Pluto has been doing internally starts to become visible in your relationships and connections. People start to see the version of you that has been changing rather than the version they knew before. Some of those people will respond with enthusiasm. Some will find the changed version disorienting. Both responses are information.

Jupiter in Leo opposing Aquarius through the coming year also brings genuine opportunities through partnerships and other people. The door opens from the outside. Someone introduces you to something. A collaboration begins that pulls you somewhere you would not have arrived alone.

Uranus sextile from Gemini

Uranus is your modern ruling planet and it moved into Gemini in late April. Uranus in Gemini is making a sextile to Aquarius which is one of the more genuinely supportive aspects of the year for your sign.

A sextile from your ruling planet means the Uranian energy — innovation, freedom, doing things differently, the willingness to break from what is established when it is no longer working — is available to you as a resource rather than a disruptive force. In Gemini this activates areas of communication, learning and the way you think and process information.

If there is a creative or intellectual project that requires a genuinely new approach, June has real support for that. The kind of thinking that does not follow existing paths. The idea that seems too unusual to work until it does.

Mercury retrograde on June 29th

Mercury retrograde in Cancer from June 29th affects Aquarius in the area of health, daily routines and work environment. Something in your day to day structures might need revisiting. A work situation that felt resolved comes back. Your body might be asking for more rest than your schedule is currently allowing.

The practical note is to wrap up anything involving health or daily routine decisions before June 29th. The retrograde is not a crisis. It is just a month where those areas need more care than usual.

What June is asking of Aquarius

Answer the Pluto question. Seriously, actually answer it rather than filing it for later.
